Life is like a box of chocolate - Schokokuchen mit Pralinen
Wow.... I like this alot combining chocolate cake with chocolates and such nice looking ones at that. Dam I like this one, and in a way I feel bad that I also have so many questions about it.
Forst off the centerpice of this, the lovely looking chocolates, unlike the last one these are not tranfers on the tops are they? some mix of dyes and colourings brushed on after they are made, or was it put into the bace of my mould? They look good regardless. and if colour relates to flavor hummm, this is where I'm going to be compleatly wrong but lets guess for fun. Green: Mint or pistachio, Red: Straberry, White: ermmm coconut? and as for gold hummmm caramel maybe?
Probably totaly wrong there but they certanly look atrractive to eat.
Ok so the box / cake, really wish the cake was infront of me as I'm sure the pictures are scewing my sence of scale and perspective..... or maybe I just want it infront of me so I can eat some. But yes, I think my perspective might be off a bit but it looks like the Cake part is a rather slim section under the chocolates but is the cake also part of the lid or does that lid acy as a reall lit and slot onto the top as well? And if so is there any structual support for the lid to help it keep it shape, and I guess the same for the walls of the box as well? Speeking of the walls and lid, the marbled parts of this make me think they are made of fondant but is most of it actualy modeling chocolate? it would explain it holding its shape so well if it is.
I'm probably wrong on so many counts on my assumptions here but dam it is a nice looking cake / chocolate box

p.s. I like the mini albino half deathstars round the outside... ok ok I know they are not but I've been looking at to much starwars stuff recently not to draw that asociation.
